Braised Short Ribs w/ Rachael Ray and...

...Pomegranate Arils! Sound yummy...it was! Monday on the Rachael Ray Show somewhere between chatting it up with proud mommy Jennifer Gardner and Gretta's underwear (It's not as weird as it sounds - you should've watched the show) one of our fav chef's, Rachael Ray -how'd ya' guess?, whipped up a wonderful recipe using pomegranate arils!

Sound's like my a normal day, at your house right!? If you make it,  you'll quickly realize her short rib recipe was anything but normal!  You can check out the whole recipe on her site, and while you there take a minute to click around, she has a lot of really great recipes!

We gave this hearty recipe 8 1/2 POM's on the Wonderful scale!

Eat, Drink and Be Gorgeous...with POM

Esther Blum Holistic Nutritionist, RD and author of the wonderful new book titled “Eat, Drink and Be Gorgeous” was on The Today Show yesterday talking about dietary secrets of, well...eating, drinking and looking gorgeous of course!

She shared a new recipe for a wonderful Pomegranate Holiday Punch featuring none other then the very best ingredients, which included...delicous 'n nutritious POM Wonderful Juice!

Pomegranates: Healthy Holiday Harbinger

On The Early Show today, cookbook author and cooking teacher Tori Ritchie shared some delicious pomegranate recipes with show co-anchor Hannah Storm, at the flagship store in Manhattan of specialty home furnishings retailer and Early Show partner Williams-Sonoma. Ritchie showed both sweet and savory ways to incorporate the fruit in dishes and in sensational drinks.

Ritchie also revealed her favorite way of opening and deseeding a pomegranate. And,  it just so  happens to be....our favorite method as well! Check out the Photo illustration on the POM website!

They also mentioned, over the course of the last five years, the popularity and sales of pomegranate juice has soared because of the fruits healthy benefits. They are correct, but remember...not all pomegranates are created equal!  When you want to feel wonderful, think wonderful...POM Wonderful.
