Trivia challenge: Anyone know the actual origins of "Labor Day"?
[ Insert cheesy Jeopardy ding-ding music here ]
Labor Day
takes place on the first Monday in September. The holiday began in 1882,
originating from a desire by the Central Labor Union
to create a day off for the "working man". It is still celebrated mainly as a
day of rest and marks the symbolic end of summer for many. Labor Day became a
federal holiday in 1894.
It also marks the day we started our Light POM Tea ad campaign! Interested in seeing the rest of the POM Tea ads? Visit our Ad Gallary on our website, located here: POM AD GALLERY
